The 14th KNU Congress was held from October 6 to 20th, 2008 at a place in the base area of the KNU. The Congress was attended by 131 delegates from the KNU central headquarters and the various districts. In addition to 42 observers, the Congress was attended by representatives from Karen organizations in the US, Canada and Australia. Alliance organizations and overseas Karen organizations sent their letters of felicitations to the Congress. (more…)
