New Delhi: Indian Parliamentarians’ Forum for Democracy (IPFDB) in Burma released a statement today and welcomes the proposed momentous visit of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to Burma.
While extending its appreciation of the visit, the IPFDB also prompts the Prime Minster of India that there are crucial concerns that needs to be resolved by the government led by President Thein Sein. And therefore, urges India to facilitate in this process as well as advocate for genuine democratic transition in Burma.
