A recent landmine fatality and increased activity by hostile ethnic armed groups in Shan State’s Mine Ton township has led more than 320 villagers in the Mong Maw village tract to flee to Namtu township, seeking refuge in Shwe Myin Thar monastery, villagers told the presiding sayadaw.
